A chance video on youtube ( in my search for yet another meditation technique) sparked something inside me that I had always known but couldn’t quite articulate; An insight .

From that moment on, I was hooked on the simple understanding of what it means to BE human and how we create our experiences moment by moment.

Not just “knowing” but “seeing” how the system of the mind works, created an innate confidence in how I showed up to life and the circumstances it presented moment by moment.  

Starting out was not easy. Binge eating, “multi-tasking” and generally having a busy mind that was constantly looking for problems to solve was a habit that took years to cultivate. But I knew that I was onto something different – even when I fell back to my old “habits” sometimes, It wasn’t the same as before.

My mind became more resilient. I bounced back a lot quicker. My outlook was not as bleak as it used to be – regardless of what was going on around me.

Now years later, when I look in the mirror, I see someone different. It has nothing to do with my physical appearance but more about who I have become fundamentally as a whole. 

Nowadays, I get comments about how relaxed I am and I take that as a compliment because it shows how far I have come and that I am living what I teach…and that’s the beauty of the work that I do.  

I’m proud of the part I play in sharing the wonder and brilliance of the power of mind. Its beauty, resourcefulness and strength, are qualities I am committed to and humbled by constantly.”
