How To Create Lasting Change

Before I dive into the good stuff, …I have something I want to share with you about how to create lasting change.

You see … if you ignore this part (it’s a before-you-start mindset) — then no matter what I show you in the following pages … you’ll not achieve any permanent long-term results.

Here’s how the typical person approaches problem solving and creating change in their lives..

limiting-beliefs

There’s a lot of things that are wrong with the above process…let me explain:

  • We have set thoughts and opinions about HOW a lot of things SHOULD come to be in our lives. Most of these opinions are always about looking for the “fast & easy” way to get there….the short cuts, the magic bullet, “Insta” Quick and easy outcomes.
  • With that mindset of “easy” we keep getting distracted and buy into products and ideas that promise the magic bullet you know the one I’m talking about….

It usually has a lot of hype, hoopla and “easy button” promises…

  • You start with good intentions.  You take action and implement the technique….and 90% of people screw up at this point.  There’s a lot going on in their minds. They think they’re not getting results fast enough.

They get distracted with the next “bright shiny” technique and product.

…And the vicious cycle continues.

  • Perhaps 10% of people will actually do something and take action.

They may achieve some results. It won’t be anything long-term. But there will be short term relief.

But at the first sign of a problem,  most will find themselves back to the start of the process. They’ll be on the lookout for the next shiny-object / technique..

Here’s the thing …

When you’re constantly riding the wave of the voice in your mind… you know the one…the playground bully that is always judging every single move you take.…you’ll always feel the need to keep looking for fast and easy solutions and results that are not sustainable..

Buying into “easy button” solutions is what got you here in the first place. The sooner you realize that the above process-flow is broken — the sooner you can move on to get lasting change.

Inside Out Thinking: A Simpler Approach To Creating Better Feelings & Experiences.

“In every systematic inquiry (methodos) where there are first principles, or causes, or elements, knowledge and science result from acquiring knowledge of these… It is clear, then, that in the science of nature as elsewhere, we should try first to determine questions about the first principles.”
– Aristotle

In a nutshell, what Aristotle is saying is that there are Universal Laws that govern everything we do.

There are basic elements that determine how the world around us works.

We’re not aware of these elements most of the time, but they’re still in play in every part of our lives.

For example: you don’t have to believe in the law of gravity. But if you jump off a 20th floor balcony, you’ll no doubt feel its effect.

So  it’s about what exists and is in play – no matter whether you believe in it or not. Because these first principles are always at work in our lives.

This is fairly simple to grasp right?…..cool

So here’s the new framework I would like you to consider:

inside out thinking
  • You focus your mind on being open and looking inwards. Rather than insisting on solutions to come in a particular way.

Even before you’ve experienced a change in yourself and your situation….

You are trusting yourself and your journey – even if you’re not yet familiar with it. You’re looking to build on it until it becomes a habit…it’s about your innate wisdom and clarity.

This time, it’s about showing up to WHO you are. That part of you that has always been here and people can SEE the difference in you without you having to say anything.

  • Understand the elements creating the experiences you’re having…. These universal elements don’t need anything more than your willingness to test them out.
  • Healthy creation of wellbeing and consistent peace of mind starts with a CLEAR MIND. Your understanding of the first elements are what help you get a clear mind.

With your clear mind, your innate wisdom and health appear. That’s when you begin to have insights, and “aha” moments begin to appear. Things begin to flow. You begin to SEE different. You begin to create lasting results with ease.

  • When you encounter an issue — and there’ll be a few of them — you’ll know see them as more as opportunities.

Your insights from your place of clear mind means that there are no roadblocks. “Problems” are always only ever temporary. There’s always a workaround and a solution.

When you follow this mindset of inside out thinking … “shiny-object” products and “magic-bullet” solutions become irrelevant and invisible.

Because you’ll be CREATING your reality, rather than responding to what you THINK is happening to you.

You will in effect be living from inside out rather than the other way around.

If a technique or product will grow your understanding of your innate wisdom, you invest in it. If it pulls you away from your core principles — it gets ignored. Simple.

People that understand and follow this way of creating from inside out can’t fail to create lasting wellbeing and peace of mind. It’s impossible.

Why?

Because our problems don’t come from outside. We can only increase our wellbeing to the point where we understand that simple fact. Stress and difficulties come from how we use our thinking.

Through a clear mind, our innate wisdom and health can and WILL guide us to increase wellbeing. But only if we allow it.

Stopping. Giving up. Looking for the next “magic bullet” solution the minute you hit a problem or experience resistance…

… only results in you earning nothing.

It’s true. You already know this.

Inside Out thinking  means you’re creating YOUR own roadmap. One that is custom designed for YOU by YOU moment by moment.

You’ll never run out steps or ideas of what to do. Your clear mind will ALWAYS open you up to your innate wisdom and health.

This is how you win … big.
